Omega is a hidden boss in Left 4 Dead 11TY.

Background[]

Omega arrived in our universe when his memory file was defeated by Vent/Aile of the Megaman Universe. Eventually, Omega landed in our universe, and rebuilt himself completely. He then trapped himself underneath SomaHara Volcano and waitied for a worthy challenger to appear.

In L4D11TY[]

Omega can be fought after beating HADES once and surviving the ending/starting a new game plus. To fight him, go to the HADES arena and access the door on the far side of the arena (Which was blocked previously). Continue through the tunnels and take down any hostiles nearby, and then knock down the wall in the large chamber. Eventually, Omega awakens, and utters his famous line, "I Am The Messiah" 9Except he yells it in Japanese as per his Megaman appearances) He utilises all of his old attacks here.

After defeating him, you can either A) Spare him and recruit him or B) Destroy him and take his attacks to "boost" any squad member.

Strategy[]

Omega is essentially HADES but with better mobility and equally damaging attacks. His standard three-hit combo can kill most squad members in a single hit. Countering this requires a character with a high strength and speed level (Such as J-Dead, SixDog and D-Win-It in order of increasing effectiveness). His healing beam attack can also cause severe damage if you stay in it's path for too long. To counter THIS, use explosives. Big Explosives...

Eventually, he starts using his Buster Combo, ShockWave and Upper-Slash attacks, these can all be avoided easily, except for the buster combo, which is two powerful shots followed by a Shockwave. To counter the Buster Combo, sprint to the side and shoot towards the head/chest area for damage. The ShockWave and Upper-Slash can all be dodged by moving towards the side and then launching any form of attack at Omega.

Towards the end, he begins using his famous 7-Hit Combo, except modified. In order of attack pattern, it is 3x Combo, an upper slash, two buster shots and an upper-slash.

Trivia[]

  • D-Win-It's attacks are incredibly similiar to Omega's, and if you search the documents in the Omega area, you'll see that Omega has challenged D-Win-It, SixDog and Barry KaFlux.
  • If you fight well enough and "spare" Omega, he can replace someone on your squad.
